Lambda256 and CertiK Partner to Strengthen Digital Asset Security and Compliance for Korean Financial Institutions
- Combining CertiK’s smart contract audit and on-chain security intelligence with Lambda256’s infrastructure and FRAML compliance solutions
- Joint Korea-APAC go-to-market framework and co-marketing initiatives across security and compliance
SEOUL, May 28, 2026 — Lambda256, a blockchain technology subsidiary of Dunamu, today announced that it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the largest Web3 security services provider CertiK to deliver integrated digital asset security and compliance solutions to financial institutions and virtual asset service providers (VASPs) in Korea.
The MOU combines Lambda256’s blockchain infrastructure and FRAML (Fraud, Risk, AML) compliance solutions with CertiK’s on-chain security intelligence and smart contract audit capabilities, addressing the integrated security and compliance challenges financial institutions and VASPs face as they expand digital asset operations. The two companies plan to progressively structure cooperation across three areas: (i) product and compliance technology integration, (ii) a joint go-to-market framework for Korea and the APAC region, and (iii) co-marketing initiatives in digital asset security and compliance.
Lambda256 has been supporting financial institutions through their on-chain transition in preparation for the financial transformation driven by AI and digital assets. The company provides data connectivity through its blockchain node infrastructure platform Nodit, and enables institutions to manage on-chain FDS and AML risk through Clair, its compliance engine.
CertiK is the largest Web3 security services provider, co-founded by Professor Zhong Shao of Yale University and Professor Ronghui Gu of Columbia University. Through security services and compliance solutions spanning the full digital asset lifecycle, CertiK supports the secure adoption of blockchain technology by financial institutions, enterprises, and regulated crypto businesses.
“Institutional adoption of digital assets has moved beyond issuance and now extends into compliance and security,” said Michael Cho, CBO of Lambda256. “Lambda256’s role is to enable globally verified security capabilities to be deployed within the operational and regulatory environments of Korean financial institutions. Through this MOU, we will integrate CertiK’s globally proven solutions into Clair, providing financial institutions with a foundation to scale their digital asset business with regulatory confidence.”
