Lambda256 Achieves SOC 2 Type I Certification
Lambda256 has successfully achieved SOC 2 Type I certification.
Through this certification, Lambda256’s blockchain service operations have been formally validated by an independent third-party auditor as being appropriately designed across Security, Availability, Confidentiality, and Integrity. SOC 2 is one of the most widely recognized standards that global enterprises and financial institutions rely on when evaluating external infrastructure providers. With this certification, Lambda256 objectively demonstrates that it operates blockchain infrastructure at a level of trust required in enterprise environments.
What SOC 2 Type I Certification Means
SOC 2 Type I evaluates whether an organization’s security policies, operational processes, and technical controls are properly designed as of a specific point in time.
Through this audit, Lambda256 validated that:
- Access to services and systems is systematically controlled
- Operational processes are in place to respond to incidents and abnormal conditions
- Customer data is protected and managed under clearly defined standards
This certification goes beyond meeting a checklist. It confirms that Lambda256 designs and operates its services with the predictable stability and security expected by enterprise customers.
Why This Matters to Financial Institutions and Enterprises
When selecting external technology partners, enterprises often look beyond features and pricing to ask a fundamental question: Is this infrastructure reliable enough to run critical business operations?
SOC 2 Type I plays an important role in answering that question by:
- Providing objective evidence during internal security and risk assessments
- Establishing a shared security baseline for collaboration with global partners
- Simplifying internal approval and procurement processes for external infrastructure
In areas such as digital assets, blockchain, and data infrastructure—where downtime or data misuse is not acceptable—third-party assurance like SOC 2 has become an essential requirement.
Scope of the Certification
This SOC 2 Type I certification covers Lambda256’s Nodit service system, including blockchain node operations, request handling and routing, indexed Web3 data APIs, monitoring and incident response processes, as well as access control and data protection policies. For security reasons, the full SOC 2 report is subject to restricted use and is available only to customers and prospective clients under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
Next Milestone: SOC 2 Type II
Lambda256 is preparing for SOC 2 Type II, which evaluates not only whether controls are well designed, but also whether they operate effectively over a sustained period of time. As part of this process, Lambda256 continues to strengthen its operational stability and security controls, and will share progress updates transparently through its Trust Center.
Security and Trust as the Default
At Lambda256, security and reliability are not optional features—they are fundamental principles embedded into every blockchain infrastructure and data service we design and operate. If you are looking for blockchain infrastructure that can be deployed directly in enterprise environments, we invite you to review Lambda256’s operational standards and validated controls. Requests for the SOC 2 Type I report and enterprise solution inquiries can be submitted through our official contact channels.
